my first slr camera! my brother gave me this camera when i was 10. i was *so* proud of it. it was about 10 years old then and didn't really work 100% (sticky shutter), but i didn't care. for ages i had just the one lens; an f2.8 50mm domiplan. then for my twelth birthday i got a haminex 70-210mm zoom lens. i was so happy. i was straight home and out the back of the house into the fields and hills trying to take pictures of rabbits, birds, anything.

and now i haven't touched the camera for about three years and i haven't run a film though it in a much longer time. it's strange the way we forget the things that brought us such pleasure and enjoyment as a child.

so that's why i didn't dust it, to show that it's been sat in it's case all this time, waiting. what lost joys do you have from your childhood left somewhere to collect dust?
